About Hill Street - The congregation
The present Sunday congregation has grown in recent years from 15-20 mostly elderly people to 50-60 with an age profile which more nearly resembles that of the population at large. We have attracted and welcomed several young families and there are many more people using the building each week.
The congregation is drawn from Swadlincote, Newhall, Woodville, Church Gresley, Midway and Burton and the recent growth includes both those new to the area and others who have lived here all their lives.
