Caught in the middle of the fighting between government forces and rebel troops are many tens of thousands of ordinary people. A quarter of a million have fled from their villages in the last few months alone – meaning as many as a million men, women and children are now displaced in the region. There are reports of rape, abduction and children being forced to fight. Malnutrition and disease on a mass scale are a real concern. These people need help now. They need food, medicine, blankets and shelter. They need to know people care. BMS World Mission has already given a relief grant of £16,000 – if you would like to give, please use the envelope provided.
