South Derbyshire Organ Trust

Hill Street Baptist Church is the home of the first organ installed by the South Derbyshire Organ Trust. The Trust was formed in 2006 to promote pipe organs within the South Derbyshire area and the organ previously in Ebenezer Methodist Church in Newhall has now been extended, modernised and re-installed in Hill Street. As well as maintaining the organ for regular use in worship at the church, the Trust also promotes a number of concerts throughout the year and encourages young organists by providing tuition on the instrument.
